“The Roadhouse Flair Challenge 2001”
Due to popular demand, this year we go global (and along with going global, we create the first ever superleague seedings table which incorporates each month's competitor heat's scores). 2000 was our first year and with great feedback we introduce some new aspects for this year.

July (29th) UK Heat

Sept. (30th) Open Event
October (28th) World (anyone eligible to enter)
November (25th) Grand Final
THE SCHEDULE OF EACH CHALLENGE
1.00pm: Doors open
1.30pm: All competitors must be registered
1.30pm: Heat order randomly selected*
2-6pm: Heats take place between
6.30pm: 5 confirmed finalists chosen
7.00pm: Bottle Off competition starts**
8-9pm: Finals start
9.30pm: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Winners announced
Notes:
· 30 competitors competing in heats with a maximum of 5 minutes each
· 6 competitors competing in finals with a maximum of 10 minutes each
· *If competitors do not arrive by 1.30pm and do not inform Roadhouse, they will be disqualified and the next ‘wild card’ will enter as replacement
· **Bottle Off (speed bottle opening) for the next 7 ranking competitors from the heat seedings. Winner of Bottle Off announced and to enter as ‘wild-card’ in Finals. This is to give some bartenders who just miss the cut an opportunity to flair in a final.
NOTE: ·The April & June competitions are for each Continent’s respective flair bartenders to enter. Nevertheless, to create a healthy competitive element –we will include non-continent competitors at various Challenges. These individuals will only receive confirmation of entry on the day.
