Back for another year, the 2004 Bar & Beverage Flair Bartending Competition will be held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Tuesday, January 27th as part of the Bar & Beverage Conference and Expo (www.barandbeverage.com).
New for this year will be two advance qualifying events, exact dates and locations are still being determined. If there is enough interest from out of town competitors, we will host a third qualifying event the night before the finals. The deadline for interest in an our of province qualifier is Friday, January 9th.
The sponsors for this competition include BOLS Liqueurs, Flairco, Skyy Vodka and Appleton rum. The prize money is as follows:
The finals will be held at the party following the trade show. Due to time constraints, there will only be five competitors in the finals, thus making the qualifying events necessary.
