I posted this in the general section, but will try here too-
I usually pour from the shaker tin by splitting the glass and the tine, which alleviates the need for using a strainer. I'm having a problem doing this one handed and wondered if anybody had any tips or techniques. Thanks.

Do you have a problem holding it or a problem splitting it?
If you're hands are not that big then you're going to have a problem holding it anyway. Try holding it from underneath and have one end (either glass or tin) pointing towards you. Most people try and use the same grip that they would for two hands ie they hold the tin and glass at the side or on top and then take away one hand - quite difficult as the glass/tin will be wet due to the cooling process.
If you have a problem splitting then you need to snap your wrist to break the seal - watch out again as the shaker will be slippy and has the weight of the drink in the bottom. so if you holding the top and snap your wrist, you're forearm needs to grip the bottom with the help of you pushing the top into it (I don't do this at work).
ALternatively - take the glass off the tin using both hands. Invert the glass and put it inside the boston - then you can definitely hold onto glass and tin with one hand risk free - get a cheater tin for your boston if you like doing this.

I can split it with little problems, however the weight of the drink and and slippery surface tends to make my pouring to shakey. I'll try holding underneath tonight and see how that works.
I need this because I can build and shake two drinks at once, but when I go to pour, I then have to do them one at a time.

did you try putting the glass into the tin?
OR have you seen a multiple tin pour?
You seem to be set on having a specific method of making two shaken drinks and I think you need to rethink (no offence).
Why don't you try this:
Ice two glasses and place them next to each other on the bar
Put both tins on the bar, put the ingredients in - ice it - put the glasses on - shake them both.
Now take the glass off both shakers
Put one glass inside one of the tins (like your storing it)
put the tin with the inverted glass inside the other tin. Now hold the bottom tin and the top tin and glass together, and pour aim to pour the ingredients in the lower tin to the first glass, as your midway through pouring that one - the top tin will be strained into the next glass.
TIPS
YOu can do this with as many tins as you can hold.
Use ice to seperate the tins to the right distance.
The distance between the lip of each tin should be the same width as the top of the glass.
Did this all make sense - if not please holla - if so - let me know how it goes
