Post subject: remembering drinks |

| Does anyone have any advice for remembering drinks (esp. shooters)? I can make the drinks but I want to be able to do most from memory. Thanks in advance. |

Well..... that is a bit of an involved question.
I personaly have never found a memory device that is more helpfull than plain old hard work at memorization.
Many others use acronyms, or little sayings to help, but they always ended up confusing me in the end.
Beleive it or not, if you just stick to it and practice memorizing you drink mixes, you will find it becomes easier and easier to memorize new ones and remember them.
There is a thread on webtender that deals with acromyms and sayings to help you remember you should check it out and see if it will help you!

| Thanks for the link. It was really helpful. I literally spent hours on that site looking up all sorts of questions I had about bartending (since i'm a newbie). It's amazing w/ all the stuff that was on there (even though it was a bit of a challenge to go through). |

Jay have you Checked out Cheryl charming's site? Lotsa fun! here's the link, http://www.miss-charming.com Give that a shot, and check on her links to other pages, a lot are out of date and are no longer found but a lot are still there and are great links. I seem to recollect she has a bunch on flair sites! _________________ The odds are good but the goods are odd. |
