hello people

ok i dont know if i am the most uncoordinated person in the world but i really struggle when it comes to flairing with a bottle and a mixing tin, so i tend not to do it, but if any1 knows of any simple moves to help me out or if there is a speacial tin i should be using could you please let me know... i got the working flair series and it helped me out loads with the standard stuff, and i am trying to expand and develope moves all the time... i'm not a big fan of the over showy 3/4 bottle juggling but i really want to be able to do bottle and tin, i just think it looks really cool and would be a nice base to move on to the multiple bottle juggling. also if any1 could give me advice on a video that really concentrates on this could you please let me know, maybe one of the compitition series? i dont have the money to by them all yet and if i did i would buy them. but sadly i am forced to beg and plead for some1's help.

if you want to contact me william_t_brown@hotmail.com

thanks for the help

I think i might challenge you on the co-ordination stakes mate..
1 bottle i am fine
1 tin i am fine
tin & bottle... spends more time on the floor than in my hands ha ha!

Its been a while since u posted this topic, so maybe now you are a whizz with the bottle and tin now!

Got myself a flair bottle for fun, recently started using the tin/boston shaker system, totally self taught from the internet and stuff, just simple moves, nothing too flash!

Nice to see another UK'er on this board!

Well, I am by no means the best person to be teaching anyone, but I recently started doing bottle and tin moves. I find the easiest is to hold the tin in your left hand and from under your left arm (with the bottle in your right hand) flip the bottle sideways 1 1/2 times to land spout down in the tin. Gidwick, If you have a flair bottle, I find the 750ml size fits great spout up in a standard tin. With the bottle in the tin you can nail behind the back tosses all day long. I'm not much for juggling these 2 items yet, but I'm getting there too.

Cheers,
Mixxx

Hey guys ,

I can give you one piece of advise I am very good with 2 and three objects and the best way to describe how i got good was , it all boils down to your double and single flips. your rotations must be clean and the same way everytime you do it.for instance i do a double shadow pass i know when the neck is going to be next to my hand its everytime the same rotation on the bottle same speed and bingo you guys will be great. At work i do about a thousand doubles a day and thats the best way to make it consistant try to make the throws the same speed same height everytime until its automatic hope this helps Flair

Ok Will

Lets go with bottle and tin.

One thing you need to get over is weight - the two objects weigh differently so try and master a set of moves with both objects and get comfortable.

Now combinations - swipes, switches, pour n cuts and catches.

There are hundreds of things you can do with a tin and bottle.

The first thing is swipes ie with bottle in right hand on the body - try and push the bottle up a little and then recatch it and cross your body. Then with your left go under your right arm and toss the tin over across your right arm as you uncross. You shoud end up in the same position as you started. now you can swipe through clockwise anti-clockwise.

Switch. With bottle in LH and tin in right. throw bottle in air for catch in LH and then at the same time pass the tin from your rh to you Lh in front and then take your LH behind your back to catch the bottle behind your back.

Pours and Cuts - just free pouring into a tin.

Catches - this is for another week.

If you want good examples then you need Christians Vids

Hope this helps

Darren
