i'm still here will - but I see you're everywhere too - I see you on the FBA site al the time - but honestly - I like to contribute to so many forums, its a chore to check them all - esp, when only the occasional q gets asked here.

Ask me Questions - I pormise I will answer (eventually Smile)

Hi everyone,
I haven't posted in awhile as i'm travelling a lot teaching seminars but i wanted you to know that i log on every few days or so to read your posts. I'm really pleased with the general helpfullness & friendly spirit that i see from all of you. I will always remember what it was like to begin, many years ago Smile, and there was no one around to help or even answer a few general questions so thank you for taking the time to encourage " the next generation " Smile
Scott Young
P.S. Congratulations to Jessikate on getting married. That's really great!!

Thanks

I've been bartending for about 4 years and a little bit.
At first I was just dabbling in the art, doing the service-bar thing and so on, but for the last 3 years I have dedicated my every waking moment to the the trade we all love so dearly.

I've studied mixology and cocktail-mechanics at the "Bartenders Workshop" in Cape Town, South-Africa.

I work at a bar called Cubana (Yes you guessed it we use a lot of BACARDI..) and spend my time off reading anything to improve my cocktail- and product knowledge, and practising to put together that ULTIMATE Flair-Routine.

Yes it's true, I have no life, but I love it.

You can always learn something new in bartending, and I'm running out of time...
