Bill,
I'm not realy up to speed on UK liqour law and health code, but Juce bottle are alwed in the US as long as health code is followed.
Helth code states that the bottle be labled as to what is in it and kept cold at all times.
Check around UK government websites for a complete listing of health code regulations and what Liqour law may say.
Also, check with other bartenders from other bars, they may be a bit more help than I am over the pond!

Hi. I'm interested in seeking a bartending job across the pond, preferably London. Can anyone tell me [u:33cd4eba51][i:33cd4eba51][b:33cd4eba51]how[/b:33cd4eba51][/i:33cd4eba51][/u:33cd4eba51] Americans go about obtaining their work visas for work in the UK? Also, how long does it usually take to receive a work visa for work in another country?
The quicker somebody answers, the I will be!
Thanx in advance.

hey jessikate is that a U.S. law that as long as it is clearly marked you can use bottles? I was understanding in Mi and in Wi that it cant be done but to me it makes sence plastic is more porous than glass. i may have read the law wrong in my head. thnx in advance _________________ Just cause customers don't expect it doesn't mean they don't deserve it. |

As far as I know, if its plastic bottles its ok. Ive worked in a few places that allows them. Not sure about glass though. I dont see there will be a problem.
As for work visa in the uk, www.ukvisas.gov.uk
Then try gumtree.com and they have a link to London bar work on the right hand side of the page
