Hello there!
Have you tried contacting your school for the job leads personnel? Every school has a person in charge of job placement, but you need to go to those interviews, or they won't help you. At least the school I am attending does this, and they told us if you have the desire, and ambition, you will get one! Also, dressing professionally helps too, always, ALWAYS, wear black and white, that is the standard clothing for a bartender. Show them you are interested also by asking for their drinks menu, that shows the potential employer you're really serious about this job and they will keep your resume/application handy. I wish you good luck and if you want some other advice, feel free to contact me. God bless! _________________ Get Today's Hottest Wireless Phones, from the comfort of your home computer! Why in the Washignton area is it impossible to find a bartending job. I use my school referrals, which I say suck. I scan the paper and internet.I am attractive, young, and Outgoing not to mention a seasoned bartender. What do I do or can anyone hire me :

The key to finding that bartending job is through friends, the friends of your friends who work for the bartending or places related to this field, and constantly checking your paper ads. Also, persistance, persistance, persistance! Keep the faith and you'll get that job! I wish you all good luck and may God bless you!!!

I live in Washington state and attended bartending school. It didn't take me long to find a job. Infact I have worked at 3 different places. I was really focused on finding a job where I was happy. I found my dream job, I have only been bartending for 4 months now, and I'm already working full time Mon-Fri. I went around town with a stack of resumes, a smile on my face and went to every Pub, Bar, Tavern and lounge in my area. If you really want to be a bartender then you will put fourth the effort to become the best bartender you can be, and you will find your dream job.. Just don't get discouraged stay focused.. [/b]
