I am a bartender in NYC and have been bartending for almost 5 years now. I occasionally have tried a flip or two or obviously more, but since it is New York, we practice speed more than appearance at all the places I have worked. I want to learn how to flip bottles without splashing everyone around me, and twirl them without spilling all over the place, any suggestions on how to learn the "tricks" by the way I am moving to Seattle April 12th, looking for a job as well, if anyone has any ideas or leads...

Hi, I can give you some suggestions on how to become really good without splashing or breaking! I first learned how to do flipps with my remote control.Although, I highly don't recomend it. Then I started practicing with plastic water bottles. Those work the best! When you are at home and have time, fill up a water bottle (preferebly water), make sure it is filled all the way to the top.You are going to need it to be filled so the weight is even, it makes it easier for beginners. Also, if you want it to be more challenging, practice with a larger water bottle and only fill it half way. Good Luck!
