Just wanted to post a big thank you to all who participated in this compititon. Especially the organizers and the judges. All the guys and gals from Flairco.com (Dean, Mike and Tara), Scott Young from Extremebartending.com (duh?!), Nick and Chuck from bottleslinger.com and especially to Steve McTavish from Smashing Cocktails. And not to forget the sponsors, Bols Amsterdam, Skyy Vodka, and Appleton Rum. Everyone worked hard and made it a great event. It was my first compitition, and I liked it so much that I just might do it again sometime. Congratulations to all the winners (not me ). And I hope everyone that didn't qualify for the finals (me ) will give it a try again, there is tons of talent out there.

Yeah, this year's Bar and Beverage was a TON of fun (arguably, too much fun...). So much better than last year's and it was awesome to see y'all again--and meet some new faces of flair! Hope to see everyone again soon! There are some comps in Edmonton coming up soon but we only have a date for one -- March 24th at the Power Plant at the U of A Campus. I'll keep anyone who's interested posted--or e-mail me at flair_girl@hotmail.com and you'll be the first to know the d's. Flair on!
