Post subject: weird situation |

Here's the situation: I just got first bartending job and to be honest, it's not the best place to work. It's 30miles away from me and I loose more money going there than I make in a night. I've been checking the newspapers for jobs and found one that I want to appy for. The only thing is, I just started working and I know it looks bad if I put that on an application. Should I try to stick it out at the other job or apply for the other one w/the current job listed?
Thanks in advance |

ok i know it could look bad on a resume, but you have to do whats best for you. just dont let the bar you are working in now know that you have applied somewhere else, if you dont get it then you still have a job to go to. and if you recently started there, then you always can leave that place very quickly. most importantly be honest when being interveiwed at the nearer place, tell them you want to leave there because travel costs are far to much.
hope thats some help

I found another job, so yay for me. And I was honest with the company and they understood. Very cool! |
