My main problem is that our bar uses standard slow pours on most of our bottles and accupours on high volume liqour (ex. White Rum, Vodka, Gin etc.). I find it impossible to do any signifigant tricks with a bottle using a slow pour without spilling, and have to be careful when doing tricks with the AccuPour because once the chamber fills it will begin spilling as well.
What spouts do you recommend using? I've searched the net for a product that had some sort of squeeze release that would allow me to control the flow. I haven't found anything yet. Any help would be appreciated.
ok just to add my 2 cents (not that it will help much), in the bar i work in we use slow pours on all spirits, never had any problems with them for flair, what exactly is the problem you have with em? is there too much liquid in the bottle? you only need about 1inch (unless your doing full bottle, in which case... keep it upright) and obviously the less liquid the better tricks you can do... never been a fan of accupour spouts, in my experiance they dont work unless you are pouring at exactly the right angle, and that is no good for flair.
if your still spilling with very little liquid in the bottle then i suggest you practise more and make sure you have the moves down... dont forget to start simple and build up to the harder tricks, dont expect to be doing amaizing moves when you just start (if you are just learning) and remember if you cant flip a bottle without spilling stick to the no risk stuff until you can, i think in my experiance i get the best reaction from just doing a simple shaker sequence.
