Iv recently started to get more and more into Flair Bartending buthave been working in clubs for a few years now doing simple drinks like spirits and mixers and bottles!!! Simple but fun!! Til i read more up about Flairing and really got into it!! I can do allot of tricks like fliping the bottle onto my hand, spining, throwing it over my shoulder, round my back (with a J2o) etc. but thats because im limited because im only serving simple drinks!! Anybody got any ideas on what else i can do? _________________ Kiz

To have more fun when basic drinks are your mainstay, try to read the customer to see if they want some flair or if they 'just want their damned drink'.
Glassware flips, ice tosses and garnish moves can easily make easy basic drinks fun. Don't forget your shakers either. Those things don't break, but they're loud as hell when they drop, letting the whole bar know you screwed up. Pretty much just add a little bit of flair into your regular routine until you start putting 'lines' and 'runs' together. Even a little twisting here and there can help you out.
