Can anyone tell me how hard or easy it is to learn how to bartend? There are quite a few jobs for bartending here in my home town. I really want to do it but no experience. What are your recomandations... Laughing Idea Question [/quote:9714c6c3ef]

In my opinion stay away from bartending schools. Anyone can learn how to make a drink. What makes a bartender is the personality and the ability to handle stress in a high pressure work envioirment. If you want to learn how to make drinks read a book. If you want to know how to bartend without any experince, start as a waiter or cocktail waitress. Spend time in the bar and pracitce upselling your customers only so you'll better familiarize yourself with dfferent liqour. And work hard, and be honest.
