I've been tending bar for at least 6 six years now. Successfully I might ad.The concern I have is that my hands seem to think it's time to do something else other than keep them constantly wet with whatever can be found behind a bar. I have developed Dyshidrotic eczema, for one, and the cuticles on my right hand (middle two fingers) have been pretty much dissolved. The middle finger on my right hand has flared up since the loss, and the other is in the process of losing all cuticle. Super glue seems to have stopped the flare up on my middle finger, but I don't think it helps with regrowth of said lost cuticle. Plus reappling Super glue 2-3 times a week irritates the good parts of that finger. My question, is there a such thing as a specially designed glove for us long timers that can be worn while tending bar? One that won't rise questions from new and old customers? One that protects? Something that can work with glassware safely? I'm sure if there is something out there I'd of witnessed it by now, but it never hurts to ask.
They do make BandAid glue. It's going to be much better for your finger than super glue. _________________ Extreme Bartending
